Last Saturday, November 17, the International Bible Society (IBS) and the Send the Light (STL) Distribution East Asia launched, after 16 years of fruitful labor, the newly completed HILIGAYNON BIBLE translation. The event, which was well-attended, was held at the Central Philippine University Electronic Media Center (EMC).

IMMU was represented by Norman Lao (who led in the opening prayer), Levy Padlan (who did the first public reading of the new translation and was one of those who prayed the dedicatory prayer), Stanly Flores (one of the organizers and dedicators), Apolinario Cubing (dedicator), Oscar Sta. Lucia (dedicator) and Raul Tiosayco (who closed the event in prayer).
